Um, hi, it's me again..


I swear this is the last post this week – just a few more things have come up for this weekend:


  • The first one is Cambridge Beaches Eyes Wide Shut on Friday, October 29th from 8.30pm until midnight.  The ticket price is $69 and includes exclusive entrance to Shutters Pool Side Lounge, two complimentary glasses of Tattinger Champagne and sushi, live sensual entertainment and club lounge music with DJ Fozzy.  There is a complimentary round trip water shuttle leaving Albouys Point at 8pm and leaving Cambridge Beaches at midnight.   • A new one to add to the list of Halloween parties on Saturday night is the HOTT Halloween Costume Party hosted by HOTT 107.5 and LV's Lounge & Ferrari Bar.  Including door prizes, giveaways and a costume contest, this will go from 9pm until late.  Admission is $35 - here's the flyer


  • And the final Halloween Party for this weekend is Lost Souls at Moon Nightclub and Lounge, also on Saturday, October 30th.  This will be from 9pm until 3am, featuring complimentary blood potions, audio and visual entertainment from DJ Bitsy Puppetmaster and, best of all, no cover charge, the sexiest and craziest outfits will received cash prizes.  ID is required.


  • The Roaring 20 from Princeton University are in Bermuda!  R20 is one of Princeton's most revered a cappella groups and has been entertaining audiences with its “sweet sound” since 1983.  Originally an all-male, jazz-centric group, they are now co-ed and perform a variety of music, ranging from Duke Ellington and George Gershwin, to Snow Patrol, Leona Lewis and The Beatles.  R20 will be performing at various locations at The Fairmont Southampton and The Fairmont Hamilton Princess from Sunday, October 31st until Friday, November 5th.  Here are their performance times and locations: Sunday, October 31st and Monday, November 1st, 7pm at Waterlot Inn, 9pm at Jasmine Lounge; Tuesday, November 2nd, 7pm at Harley's Restaurant, 9pm at Jasmine Lounge; Wednesday, November 3rd, 7pm at Waterlot Inn, 9pm at Jasmine Lounge; Thursday, November 4th, 10am at Windows on the Sound, 7pm at Waterlot Inn; Friday, November 5th, 7pm at Waterlot Inn, 9pm at Jasmine Lounge.  For more information visit their website at www.princetonroaring20.com


  • I hope you already signed up for the Bacardi Halloween Scavenger Hunt on Sunday if you wanted to go because spaces are now fully-booked!


  • The 4th Annual Bacardi 8K Road Race and Walk will take place on Sunday, November 21st.  Walkers start at 8.30 am and runners start at 9am. Well-known within Bermuda's running community, both for being a unique distance race and for having all the festivity of a Bacardi event, the Bacardi 8K begins at the Bacardi World Headquarters building, turns onto Pitt's Bay Road towards Spanish Point, and ends at Bacardi. Post-race, the runners are treated to a complimentary light breakfast, draw prizes and prizes to the top male and female finishers in several categories. Organised by the Mid Atlantic Athletic Club (MAAC), the race is open to entrants 18 years or older.  For more information, contact Norma Thomson at 298-1017 – here's the entry form.
