Happy Friday Kids!

 

  • If you're trying to save a bit of money during these tough economic times then Henny for a Penny could be the party you're looking for!  This will be at The Cellar at the Fairmont Southampton tomorrow night from 10pm until 3am, there will be Hennessy Jello Shots all night long (other jello flavours too) and music by D'General and DJ Aztec.  Tickets are $15 in advance, more at the door, and are available from Kit 'n' Caboodle.  For more information, call 295-2103 or see the Facebook event here - here's the flyer!

 

  • Snorkel Park invite you to come party with the Carnival guests and crew tomorrow night at The Ultimate Heiniken Carnival Night at Snorkel Park from 9pm until 3am.  Admission is $20 and includes,  bull-riding, limbo-dancing, gombeys and music from OB1, Y.G.S and iMega.  Here's the Facebook event and here's the flyer.

 

  • As Lady Gaga says, "don't be a drag, be a queen", and go witness the ultimate face-off between the Queen of Bermuda, Sybil Barrington, the Queen of Front Street, Rickalicious Olson, and several others as they compete for a cash prize at the Docksiders Diva Show  on Sunday night.  Sybil will be your host and MC for the evening and the night will kick off at 8pm with karaoke until 9pm, followed by stand up comedy by Jimmy O'Shea, and music by DJ Smokey.  Tickets are $30, unless you can catch Rick or Reed at Dockies or the Beach during Happy Hour, in which case tickets are only $20.  If all that isn't motivation enough, Smirnoff is on special and Heinekens are only $3 time to party Bermuda - here's the flyer!

 

  • The Bermuda Cricket Board presents Hiscox U11 Celebrity Cricket Festival at the National Sports Centre, North Field on Saturday, June 4th. This kicks off at 9.30am with an All Star 11&U East v West game, followed by a Celebrities vs 11&U BCB National Academy Team at 1pm. This event is free with free children’s activities for everyone. If that isn't motivation enough, there is also free lunch, a t-shirt for the first 400 to attend and the Celebrity Team will include Glenn Blakeney, Michael Scott, Kim Wilson, Zane DeSilva, Michael Weeks, Michael Jackman, Bruce Barritt, Power Girl, Nadanja Bailey, Gavin Djata Smith, Teresa Perozzi, Jay Donowa, Dwayne Leverock, Lionel Cann, Stephen Outerbridge and more.  Here's the flyer!

 

  • Find it hard to read signals from the opposite sex?  Moon Night Club & Lounge, Bermuda's Women's National Field Hockey Team and Y.G.S. Entertainment make it a little easier for you at The Stop Light Party on Saturday, June 4th from 10pm until 3am.  Music will be by Blackstar, Y.G.S and a special guest Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door and tickets are on sale from Sound Stage, Kit 'n' Caboodle, the Hockey Team or the DJs.  All proceeds will go to the Bermuda's Women's National Field Hockey Team as they fly to Brazil to participate in the Pan American Challenge Cup.  The theme dress code can be decoded as follows: Red for STOP: That person is taken or doesn’t want to be bothered.  Yellow for CAUTION: Depends on who is asking / It’s complicated / Proceed with care, and make sure your game is tight.  Lastly, Green for GO: Single.  Here's the link to the Facebook event and here's the flyer!

 

  • Barracuda Grill invite you to their Six Sigma Ranch Winemaker’s Dinner on Tuesday, June 14th.  From 7pm, there will be an intimate dining experience showcasing Six Sigma Ranch wines, from their naturally farmed vineyards in Lake County, California, featuring Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo. The wines will be presented by Kaj Ahlmann and Six Sigma’s Winemaker, MaI Hughes and paired with a 5‐course tasting menu, created by Barracuda Grill Executive Chef, Derek Myers.
