From 9pm until late, your host Charles Doyle will have tons of songs to choose from. Drink specials will include $8.50 Hennessy, $7 for SoCo, Fireball and Swizzle, or $6 for Corona.
There is no cover charge and this event will run weekly throughout the summer.

Enjoy a community fun day in the East End as Strykz Bowling Lounge, in conjunction with Desmond Crockwell and Bro. Ritchie, are throwing the Strykz Bowling Block Party and Out of School Celebration on Saturday, June 30th.
From 10am until 6pm in Strykz Bowling Lounge’s parking lot in St. David’s, you can come out and support this free event. There will be fun castles, music, remote control cars, snowballs and plenty of food.
There is no entry fee so you just need to pay for the rides and food.

BUEI Films and US Consulate Bermuda present Matt Shepard is a Friend of Mine on Saturday, June 30th.
From 2pm in the Tradewinds Auditorium at BUEI, friends and family reflect on the life and death of 21-year-old Matthew Shepard, who was murdered in a targeted homophobic attack in Wyoming in 1998.

Raising funds to assist members to attend the AME Conference overseas and represent Vernon Temple and Bermuda AME Churches, the Vernon Temple AME Church Lay Organisation BBQ will be on Saturday, June 30th.
The BBQ will be held from 3pm until 7pm on the lawn of the Parsonage overlooking the Great Sound. at 6 Hawthorn Lane in Southampton. Take-out meals will also be available.
The ticket price will include steak, chicken, peas and rice, green salad, coleslaw, corn-on-the-cobb, potato salad, hot dog, dessert and drink.
The cost is $25 and tickets are available at the church or from a member.

Experience an old school reggae beach party with part proceeds going to Tomorrow’s Voices (charity # 816) at Bonfire pon de Beach on Saturday, June 30th.
From 7pm until 10pm at Chaplin Bay Beach, you can come out and hear the very best tunes of the 80s and 90s – pure sweetness guaranteed – with music courtesy of DJ Kyle (Boston), Nuclear Weapon, Supatone and OGS Genesis. There will also be a full bar and food on sale.

Good family fun is in store in St. George’s at the 23rd Annual Portuguese Festival of the Holy Spirit on Saturday and Sunday, June 30th and July 1st.
This will take place in King’s Square from 7pm until 11pm on the Saturday and from 5pm until 10pm on the Sunday, you can expect live local and overseas entertainment, with traditional Portuguese food and baked goods available for sale.

Enjoy a unique evening on the seas as the Ana Luna Catamaran sails for the July 4 Laser Light Show on Wednesday, July 4th.
From 7.30pm, you can join them for the Sunset Cruise followed by the spectacular skybluepink of sunset’s aftermath. You can then enjoy the island’s first laser light display over the Mid Ocean Golf Club as it adorns the evening sky. The Bermuda Fashion Festival opens with the highly entertaining and acclaimed Evolution Retail Show on Sunday, July 8th.
From 6.30pm under the under the mega-tent at No 1 Car Park, this will be the largest event of the Festival, drawing crowds of thousands and boasting all the quality of past years. Featuring retailers from all parishes, and beautiful models on a 70-foot runway, this is the fashion event of the year and promises to be an experience not to be missed. Bring the family, bring your chairs – this event is open to all.
General admission is free, reserved seating is $40 and VIP tickets are $60. Reserved seating includes allocated seating area and access to private cash bar, while VIP includes complimentary cocktail reception at 5.30pm, access to private cash bar, gift bags and reserved premium seating. The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Bermuda and Hiscox present Richard Parks Live: Extreme Environment Athlete on Monday, July 9th.
From 5.30pm in the Tradewinds Auditorium at BUEI, you can enjoy an exciting evening with Richard Parks, world-record-holder and extreme environment athlete, known for his thrilling adventures, conservation efforts, BBC television programmes, award-winning book, youth activism, and motivational speaking. Richard will deliver a presentation that walks you through many of his amazing feats and conquests from every continent around the globe, followed by an opportunity for you to engage in a Q&A session with this amazing man.
Attendees will hear how Richard pushes the boundaries of human performance, making history twice. Richard became the first ever person to climb the highest mountain on each of the world’s seven continents and stand on all three poles (the North Pole, the South Pole
and the summit of Everest) in the same year, and again by becoming the first Welshman – and the fastest ever Brit – to ski solo, unsupported and unassisted to the South Pole.
You will get the chance to put your questions to Richard at the end of the presentation.
Tickets are $15 for students, $35 for adults, and available through www.pTix.bm. All proceeds from this event will directly benefit more than 500 local youth through their participation in The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Bermuda.

In partnership with JetBlue, the Bermuda Fashion Festival brings you the Celebrity Golf Classic on Tuesday, July 10th.
Registration at Fairmont Southampton’s Turtle Hill Golf Club will begin at 8am, followed by a shotgun start at 8.30am. Teams of four are invited to sign up and will each play with an international celebrity, be it an international designer, stylist, international model or a reality TV star.
Confirmed international designers hitting the links include celebrity favourite, Michael Costello and Lisa Nicole Cloud. Reality TV star and ABC’s Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise favourite, Daniel McGuire, will also be setting up his tee alongside other celebrity guests including Emmanuel Ezugwu, Ken Laurence, Viktor Luna, Adolfo Sanchez and Jessica White.
There will be an array of prizes including gift baskets, complimentary tickets to other Fashion Festival events and a grand prize of a $750 travel voucher furnished by JetBlue.
The cost is $750 for teams of 4 and and any individuals wishing to play can also sign-up for $200 and will be assigned to a team.

Designed to prep you for their regular classes, The Yoga Centre present a six-week Beginner’s Yoga Summer Course, starting on Wednesday, July 11th.
From 5.30pm, this course will provide those curious about yoga with a good introduction into the practice. Students will learn how to do the poses, effective breathing techniques and deep relaxation skills to relieve stress and foster healthy sleep.
The Instructor, a E-RYT 500, YACEP through Yoga Alliance and a C-IAYT
(certified yoga therapist) through The International Association of Yoga Therapists, is equipped to work with most student abilities and challenges through adaptations, ensuring safety first.

The Bermuda Fashion Festival invite you aboard the UberVida Celebration Yacht for the Float Fashion Cruise on Wednesday, July 11th.
Boarding will be at 10.30am at Number 1 Car Park. From 6.30pm under the under the mega-tent at No 1 Car Park, this is an elaborate showcase for overseas designers in the elegant richness of Bermuda. Each designer presents their collection featuring top Bermuda and International models. Celebrity favourite Michael Costello returns with a full collection for the runway along with Lisa Nicole Cloud and other international designers.

From 6.30pm under the under the mega-tent at No 1 Car Park, this event will feature the 2018 Bermuda Fashion Festival Local Designers alongside more of your favourite Bermuda brands. This event allows you to view the show pieces up close, meet the designers, shop your favourite designs and place custom orders. Upgrade your closet with exclusive pieces from the Bermudian designers you know and love while tasting amazing cocktails at this fashion social.
The Expo also features a plethora of Bermudian designed/Bermudian-made fashion brands, all available for sale, from Lili Bermuda and Coral Coast to The Rock Label and Rebecca Little, making it the ultimate pop-up shop.

Join L’Alliance Française des Bermudes to celebrate a French-style Bastille Day Celebration on Saturday, July 14th.

Looking for a Graphic Designer? Or do you simply love the art form and want to check out some cool designs? Then you’re in luck as SJD World has partnered with Bermuda Blue Printing and Bermuda Society of Arts to put on Graphic Design Showcase 2018 on Friday, July 27th.
From 5pm until 7pm at the BSOA you can pop by to see work from some of Bermuda’s top designers. The show will feature Digital Art, Corporate Design and Manipulated Photography – and they also invite graphic designers of all levels to be apart of the showcase.
The show is free to enter or submit, and will run until August 21st.

Percy H. Caines III invites you to join him for a Moped Ride for Worldwide Prostate Cancer Awareness on Saturday, July 28th.
Starting at 11am in Royal Naval Dockyard, riders will make their way across the island, ending at Clearwater Beach. There will be activities at the beach, including food, fun, t-shirt sales and talks, until around 5pm. Mr. Caines is a prostate cancer surviver who wants to get the word out about how it is so imperative to get a yearly check-up.
There is no cost to participate and no need to register in advance, however the first 200 people who give a heart-filled donation of $50 or more at www.MenListenUp.org will receive a free t-shirt as shown on the website. All proceeds will go to further Prostate Cancer Awareness..

Join the Ana Luna Catamaran for a day of fun at the Non-Non Mariners Race on the Ana Luna on Sunday, August 5th.
The cruise departs Grotto Bay at 11am and stops at Barr’s Bay Park in Hamilton for pickup at around 1pm. Aboard this cruise you’ll head to Mangrove Bay to join the revellers at this legendary annual raft-up.
