Chin up, the week’s almost over already! Hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend with lots of fun times with family and friends. I will definitely be indulging in lots of chocolate after a very long Lent! Here is what’s coming up in Bermuda:
Heavenly Blessings Nursery & Preschool are hosting a Good Friday Potluck at Hamilton SDA Church on Wednesday, April 16th. On the menu is codfish cakes, hot cross buns, Spanish rice, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw and mixed vegetables with gingerbread, pound cake and banana bread for dessert. Tickets are $14 in advance and $16 at the door. For more information, or to pre-order, contact 737-0555.
I have just been cheered up by the realisation that there is a public holiday for Good Friday next week – can’t believe I completely forgot until now, especially since it’s one of the nicer public holidays. I guess I’d better get started on making my kite, and also on buying a real kite for when my home-made kite ends up a hot mess. If you’re looking for Bermuda Easter weekend events, you’ve come to the right place – and the summer events are starting to come in too…
