Come and hear first-hand about the journey of a 150 year-old bottle of perfume discovered on the Mary Celestia wreck that inspired the 2014 launch of a limited edition perfume at Mary Celestia: The Perfume at 7.30pm at BUEI on Thursday, February 26th.
An archeological team discovered the perfume and an idea blossomed with Dr. Philippe Rouja and perfumer, Isabel Ramsay-Brackstone, to re-create the fragrance. Sales of the limited edition perfume partly go to the Lili Bermuda Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on the preservation of Bermuda’s shipwreck heritage, which includes a certification program encouraging young Bermudians to dive.
