April 6th, 2016: Bermuda Events Update
Morning Troops!
Welcome to the first post of April and the second quarter of 2016. I have already had my first sunburn of the year so it’s practically summer in my book!
Here are the latest Bermuda events for April and beyond:
The Reefs Resort & Club invite you to join them on Friday evenings for their Stir It Up Cocktail Series.
From 6pm until 8pm each week until June 24th, you can participate in the hands-on creation of various styles of cocktails with expert Mixologists providing personal instruction on cocktail creation techniques.
Learn how to make the classics and add unique twists with seasonal ingredients. A first of its kind for Bermuda, this interactive experience will feature a different cocktail style or technique each week. These fun sessions are designed for stand-alone instruction, so prior participation is
not required.
You can further the fun once a month at their Amateur Cocktail Challenge, where you can compete to showcase your skills in specified cocktail preparations. The Challenge will be on the last Friday of each month and will take place at the end of that day’s series. A panel of judges will determine each month’s winner. Finalists will be invited back to compete in the Stir It Up Amateur Cocktail Challenge in November.
The winning cocktail creation will be featured as The Reefs’ official 2017 Perfectly At Ease signature cocktail. The winner will also receive their choice of a 5-night stay for two, or dinner for two each month at any of The Reefs’ restaurants for an entire year. Complete details on the the Stir It Up Amateur Cocktail Challenge can be found at www.TheReefs.com/Stir-It-Up.
The Reefs thanks Burrows Lightbourn Ltd. for their support with the Stir It Up Cocktail Series and Amateur Cocktail Challenge.
Participation in both the Stir It Up Cocktail Series and Amateur Cocktail Challenge is free. The drinks that you make as part of the series are complimentary and the a la carte menu will be available for anyone who wishes to purchase additional drinks or snacks.
