September 21st, 2016: Bermuda Events Update
Morning Bermuda!
Can you believe it’s already the middle of September?
The month has literally flown by with all that’s been happening, and still there’s lots to look forward to in October too. Here are the latest events that have been added to the
calendar. As always, don’t forget to check out the Quick Recap Section at the bottom of the post for a full listing of all upcoming events, included those previously covered in previous posts.
Investigate the academic opportunities for your child abroad, at the CAIS Boarding Schools Fair on Wednesday, September 21st and Thursday, September 22nd.
To be held from 4pm to 8pm at the Hamilton Princess within the Princess Victoria Ballroom, the fair will give parents and students a chance to chat with representatives of esteemed Canadian boarding schools.
Schools attending will be: Albert College, Appleby College, Bishop’s College School, The Bishop Strachan School, Havergal College, King’s-Edgehill School, Lakefield College School, Pickering College, Rosseau Lake College, Rothesay Netherwood School, St. Andrew’s College, Stanstead College, and Trinity College School.
For over 20 years, CAIS Boarding Schools have been travelling to Bermuda to meet with families who are interested in a Canadian boarding school education for their children. Just last year, CAIS Boarding Schools welcomed 30 Bermudian students to their campuses.CAIS Boarding Schools continue to be impressed by the quality of students that come from Bermuda each year. Bermudian students have a solid foundation at their local schools, and come to CAIS Boarding Schools ready to integrate into the life of a busy boarding school. In fact, many of them develop into leaders in their residences, the classroom, and in the areas of arts and athletics. Bermudians graduate from CAIS Boarding Schools and become active alumni of their alma maters, promoting their schools proudly and staying involved long after graduation. This is a free event. For more information, contact Fiona Parke, Interim Director of Outreach, CAIS Boarding Schools, at fparke@cais.ca.
