Have safe Cup Match everybody!
Summer Sunday in the Park is back on Sunday, August 12th.
From 2pm until 8pm at Victoria Park, everyone is invited to come on down to enjoy live entertainment, carnival games, dance troupes, food and drink vendors and much more.
Hosted by Ed Christopher and Power Girl, this Family-friendly event will feature a slew of local entertainers. The Simons Brothers, Island Teazza, The Unit, DJ Mystro, Bermuda School of Music and The Beat Project will all be on hand to tickle your musical ear. There will also be performances by DanceSations, Geisha Rene and Bodhi Fitness, Gombey Evolution and the PHC Majorettes. Promising an afternoon of fun and entertainment for the entire family, you can also expect a kids zone with fun castles, carnival games with prizes to be won. Food and beverage vendors will also be there so come on down and make an afternoon/evening of it!

Grab a bargain at the next Peace Lutheran Church Car Boot Sale on Saturday, August 18th.
From 9am until 2pm, there will be lots of great bargains on clothes and shoes for women, men, children and babies, as well as household items, books, CDs, DVDs, jewellery, gifts, toys and much more. This promises to be the best car boot sale in Bermuda, and you can even enjoy a cup of coffee and hot dog whilst shopping.

Close out your summer with old school vibes onboard Calico Jack’s Floating Bar as they host Old School Reggae Cruise Pt. 8 on Saturday, August 18th.
Presented by Red Stripe and Dragon Stout Jamaica, at this event you can expect to hear nothing but the biggest old school tunes all night. Roots, lovers rock, culture, dancehall, dubplates and more will be played by some of Bermuda’s biggest sounds, including; Supatone Sound, Hollywood, Souljah One Sound and Blackstar.
The boat leaves at 9pm from Albouys Point and returns at midnight.
Tickets cost $40 per person and the price includes a welcome beer, all-night drink specials, and other branded giveaways. Tickets can be purchased from Kit n’ Caboodle, Ptx.bm, or from event DJs.
You must be at least 18 years old to attend and KJ&K Security Services will be on duty.

The 18th Annual Lepercq Memorial Tournament will be held on Sunday, August 19th.
Starting at 10am at the Hamilton Princess Hotel, this open martial arts tournament is dedicated to the memory of Paul Lepercq for his contributions to the martial arts in Bermuda. The tournament is open to all ages and levels and competitors entry forms can be found online at www.BermudaKarateInstitute.com.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12, or $20 for families with a maximum of four, and can be purchased on the door, or in advance from the Bermuda Karate Institute.

Bring a picnic, bring a blanket, bring a date, bring the kids. The City of Hamilton is inviting everyone to the Movie Lounge at Queen Elizabeth Park on Sunday, August 24th.
From 5pm until 10pm, they are offering up another double-header of movies to usher in the weekend. A Wrinkle in Time will be the first screening at 5:30pm, followed by Avengers: Infinity Wars at 7:30pm.
So come and cool out under the trees and stars surrounded by lush greenery, and wear your best MARVEL costume for the chance to win a prize. Popcorn, drink and candy vendors will be on hand as well as kids’ entertainment.
Admission is free. For $30 you can purchase a Movie Package on www.Ptix.bm that includes a Movie Lounge blanket, large popcorn, bag of candy and two large sodas.

“Rethink Pink” is the theme of the 22nd Annual BF&M Breast Cancer Awareness Walk on Wednesday, October 17th.
The objective is to spread the message that Breast Cancer Awareness Month is about so much more than just the colour pink – it’s about prevention, early detection and taking control of your breast health.
Starting 5:45pm with a warm-up at Barr’s Bay Park, the walk will begin at 6pm.
The registration cost is $30 and can be completed online at www.RaceDayWorld.com.
