Morning Ladies and Gents!

Hope you’re all enjoying the week so far!  If you’re at a loose end tomorrow night, please feel free to come and check out my appalling bartending skills at The Reefs tomorrow night from 7pm until 9pm.  This is part of their Guest Bartender Series and $1 from each drink sold will benefit the Sunshine League so it’s a good excuse to have a poorly-made cocktail (just  kidding, their professional bartender will be on-hand to make sure I don’t mess up too much) and a beautiful view for a good cause.  Hope to see some of you there!  Here is the latest rundown on what else is happening in Bermuda:

Ever wanted to see some worms get down and dirty?  Then you’re in luck as Ana Luna are offering a family-friendly sunset cruise followed by a viewing of bioluminescent Glow Worms tonight, Wednesday, June 26th.  The boat will sail from Grotto Bay’s dock at 7.30pm and after sunset you can witness the glow-in-the-dark mating ritual of these unusual creatures, performed two and three days after the full moon during the warmer months.  The cost is $65 per person and space is limited.  For more information, or to reserve, contact ana-luna-adventures@hotmail.com.

Happy Hump Day, Troops!

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend with only the good kind of mischief! I could definitely get used to a four-day working week, although catching up with all of Monday’s work on a Tuesday is pretty tough.  Here is the latest rundown of Bermuda events to get your through to the next weekend:

Calling all 13 to 19 year olds – you are invited to visit the Teen Services Information Booth on Front Street at Harbour Nights on Wednesday, June 19th to take their Prevent Teen Pregnancy Quiz.  This will be running from 6.30pm until 9pm and teens who complete the  questionnaire will be entered into a draw to win one of two iPod shuffles and a $50 iTunes card.  All entries will receive an instant prize.  This is part of the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Campaign and winners will be announced on Monday, June 24th.  For more information, contact 292-1175 or teenservices@northrock.bm.

Morning Troops!

Here we are again, halfway through another Bermuda-ful week and another upcoming holiday weekend to look forward to.  Still don’t have plans yet?  Well, I guess that’s why I’m here – here are the latest Bermuda events:

Open Mic Night at Hog Penny has now moved to Wednesdays to coincide with Harbour Nights. From 10pm, hosts Will Black and Tony Brannon will invite any musical performers up on stage to sing, jam and entertain. No cover charge.

Happy Hump Day, Kids!

It’s already halfway through another beautiful week!  Hope you’re all making the most of the summer as it seems to be going by in a flash.  Here is the latest round up of what’s going on in Bermuda:

Red Steakhouse & Bar invite you to the Exclusive Launch of CIROC Vodka on Wednesday, June 5th. The event is sponsored by Gosling’s and introduces this ultra premium vodka, which is the only one to be made entirely from grapes. It is also made from all natural ingredients, five times distilled, cold fermented and 100% gluten-free. The event kicks off at 10pm with music by DJ SiiD James, an exclusive Oyster Bar by Executive Chef Veronica Mal and her team, samples of 3 specialty cocktails made with CIROC Vodka, a media wall where guests will be free to take pictures and encouraged to post via social media (twitter, Facebook, instagram etc) and themed “RED” lighting with high cruiser tables on the patio.
