Sooooo, notice anything a little different today?  Yup, that’s right – the website formerly known as NTDIB now has a brand new name and a brand new look!  Don’t worry though, Bermuda Events won’t just be coasting by on its good looks now – you can still expect Bermuda’s most comprehensive events calendar…

 

Here are the latest events that have been added to the Bermuda calendar since last week’s post.  As always, don’t forget to check out the Quick Recap Section at the bottom of the post for a full listing of all upcoming events, including those previously covered in previous posts.

From 5pm until 7pm, this family-friendly event will take place at their new store at 27 Front Street, where you can meet the whale, have your picture taken with co-founders Shep and Ian, enjoy light snacks and refreshments, listen to live music and much more.

The Bermuda Hockey Federation invite you to party with the undead aboard their Zombie Halloween Booze Cruise fundraiser on Friday, October 28th.

The MV Longtail will board from 6.45pm at Albuoy’s Point for a prompt 7pm departure.  The ticket price includes all you can drink, along with a special Trick or Treat upon entry, and DJ New Era spinning the latest and greatest all night.  The boat will be decorated to impress and the best Halloween costume will win a prize.  This event is sponsored by Burrows Lightbourn.

Hear the story of the Wesley family and see what remains of their once stately home at The Hauntings of Wesley Manor: Haunted Library Tour on Saturday, October 29th.

From 3pm at the Youth Library, scares, stories and surprises await.  The lights-on tour will run from 3pm until 4pm, while the lights-out tour will run from 5.30pm until 8pm.  Costumes are required.

From 6.30pm in Fairmont Southampton’s Mid-Ocean Amphitheatre, you are invited to come enjoy lots of live entertainment, a complimentary reception and the chance to cast your vote for your favourite lip syncers. This event is sponsored by CellONE, with support from Lindo’s Group of Companies.

This is a fundraising event for the BTA and there will be an opportunity to bid for some amazing prizes.

From 10am until 5pm at Dolphin Quest at the National Museum of Bermuda, you are invited to help them celebrate 20 years of marine mammal conservation, education, and scientific study in Bermuda.

Restoration Fellowship encourage you to join them with expectancy and excitement as they look forward to experiencing a God Encounter at The International Prophetic Conference 2016 from Wednesday to Sunday, November 16th to 20th.

This year the theme will be, The God Encounter, based on Genesis 35: 9-10.

The event speakers are Bishop George Bloomer (of Detroit, Michigan), Dr. Judy Brown-Jones (of Brooklyn, New York) and Dr. Roxanne Haynes (of Bermuda – Conference Host) and, once again, they are excited to announce that these services will be recorded for airing on the WORD Network.

Opening Service will be at 7.30pm on November 16th.  On November 17th and 18th, Hour of Power will run from noon until 2pm, followed by Evening Service at 7.30pm.  On November 19th and 20th, Morning Service will be at 10.30am.  Evening Service will be at 7.30pm on the 19th and 6.30pm on the 20th.

All Worship Services will be held at the Fairmont Southampton’s Mid-Ocean Amphitheatre, while the afternoon Hour of Power sessions will be held at Greater Heritage Worship Center.

The KPMG Front Street Mile Trials feature mile races for Primary, Middle, and Senior School Students and Adults.

The top 20 finishers in each group will qualify for the 2017 KPMG Front Street Mile to be held on the evening of Friday, January 13th, 2017 on
Front Street, Hamilton – the opening event for the 2017 Bermuda Marathon Weekend.
