Summer is nearly over but don’t worry, there is still lots to do on this beautiful island of ours. Join Cobb’s Hill Gospel Chapel for their Annual Community BBQ on Saturday, August 18th.

Starting at 5pm at Cobb’s Hill Gospel Chapel in Warwick, there you can enjoy food, snowballs, popcorn, games, fun castles, gombeys, music, entertainment.

This is a free event. All guests are welcome to attend a special Community Church Service at 11:15 am on Sunday, August 19th.

Take part in a free Just Dance Class on Wednesday, August 22nd.

Starting at 12:30pm in Victoria Park, come out to enjoy this dance event hosted by the Government of Bermuda – Department of Health. Bring your towels, your water, your friends and let’s dance!

Bermuda Sanshou Association invites you to their Wines of Argentina Wine Tasting Event on Saturday, August 18th.

Starting at 7pm at the Newstead Belmont Hills Pool Bar, this event is being held to support the Bermuda National Team’s travels to the 12th Pan American Wushu Championship in Buenos, Aires, Argentina in November.

The cost of this event is $60 and tickets can be purchased at Aries Sports Centre at 22 Queen Street in Hamilton, or by contacting 492-7437.

Take part in a Free Zumba Fitness Class on Wednesday, August 22nd in the City of Hamilton.

Starting at 7pm on Front Street, you can enjoy an amazing taste of Zumba Fitness at Harbour Nights. Just bring your towel and water and get dancing!

Bermuda has a rich motoring culture. We take pride in our boats, cars and perhaps most of all, our motorcycles. In light of this, Bluewave Bermuda invites you to join them at the Bermuda Charge Charity Ride-Out & Expo on Sunday, September 2nd.

From 12pm at the Dockyard Transport Museum until 10pm **UPDATE: The event will now finish at 7pm** at Clearwater Beach, you can come out to celebrate all forms of transport, from classic combustion to emerging electric, in the ride-out from West to East.

This event promises to be a fun community convoy along a stunning route which leads to the ‘Energy Expo’ with live entertainment at the finish line at Clearwater Beach. There, to close the event, the Sizzle Fest concert will feature a performance by headliner, Damian Marley.**UPDATE: Damian Marley will no longer be headlining Sizzle Fest**

Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre invite you to Cancer Talks: Ovarian Cancer on Thursday, September 13th.

The events starts at 5:30pm at the BUEI, where you are invited to come out and listen to the talk and participate in a Panel Discussion with topics ranging from; Ovarian Cancer Causes, Family History and Genetics, Symptoms of Ovarian Cancer and Ovarian Cancer Treatment.

Panel Guests include; Dr. Chris Price, Oncologist, Bermuda Hospitals Board and Dr. Susana M. Campos, Medical Oncology, Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

A one of a kind fundraiser bringing the community together for a unique entertainment experience, while keeping the sole focus and purpose of the event on support of Bermuda’s children, this year’s Family Centre Beach Bash on Saturday, September 15th.

From 7pm until 1am at the Fairmont Southampton’s Ocean Club Beach, you can Eat, Drink and Dance under the stars at this pink flamingo themed event! The night will include a cocktail reception, dinner on the beach with wine, live entertainment and an extensive silent auction.

The cost is $250 per seat or $2500 for a table of ten.
