Hamilton Princess Hotel & Beach Club invites you to meet Matteo Di Donato, direct from Santa Margherita & Cà Maiol wineries in Italy, and explore wines with him at the Happy Hour Wine Tasting on Friday, April 12th.
From 5pm until 7pm at Marcus’ Restaurant, you will learn about new wines from the Lake Garda region of Lugana, and other popular wines which are currently available in Bermuda. You’ll explore a total of 7 wines on the night, including Prosecco, Rosé, Trebbiano di Lugana and Groppello.

Experience Greek Weekends at Medittera, every Friday to Sunday in April, starting on Friday, April 12th.
From 6pm until 9pm, they are offering 3 courses of greek specials, with a special menu including options for Saganaki, Lamb Chops, Moussaka and Baklava.

Talk about a match made in heaven – Goslings Rum and Fourways Restaurant are teaming up to present Welcome to Culinary Heaven, a sublime dining and drinking experience for a few fortunate people, on Friday, April 12th.
The event starts at 7pm at Fourwarys Inn, where Goslings’ own Andrew Holmes and Fourways Head Chef Suresh Nadaraja have designed an array of cocktail and food pairings that they promise you will be raving about for months.
The prix fixe of this evening is $150 per person, which includes gratuities.

The Bermuda National Trust invites you to join them for the annual BNT Palm Sunday Walk of 2019 – to take place rain, blow or shine, on Sunday, April 14th.
Start time is 2pm at Cross Island in Dockyard, where parking is available, however you are encouraged to carpool or take the ferry over – the Blue route leaves Hamilton at 1:45pm. The walk is 2.5 hours, and an approximate distance of about 5 miles. The end point is also at Cross Island.
Absolutely no dogs are allowed on the walk, and you are to bring your own water bottle. BNT Merchandise will be for sale, as well as Hot Cross Buns available for a $2 donation at the halfway point. Drinks will be donated by John Barritt and Son Ltd. The event is sponsored by Sompo International.
This is a free event. The Trust would greatly appreciate a $5 donation per person. Donations can be given at the event or on the donate button on the BNT website: www.bnt.bm.

Under the Distinguished Patronage of Rev. John Woolridge and Mrs Donna Woolridge, The Bermuda Entertainment Union invites you to attend A Tribute of Song and Word, in honour of their President, Brother Leroy Simmons on Sunday, April 14th.
From 3pm until 5:30pm at the Spinning Wheel Entertainment Complex, some of Bermuda’s best performers, including; Hindsight, Darryl Simons, Sheila Smith, Lloyd Holder, Cush Evans, Shine Hayward, Big Snipes and Toni Robinson will entertain you, while some of Bro. Leroy’s friends and Associates will educate you about the man. Emcees for the evening are “Power Girl” Patrina Paynter and “Mr. Wendell”, Dill.

The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce is pleased to bring you another season of Harbour Nights in 2019, starting on Wednesday, April 17th.
Front Street will host Bermuda’s largest and longest running street festival, with offerings from local artisans, crafters, chefs, musicians and other entertainers, and of course, the Gombeys.
The street festival will be held weekly throughout the summer, every Wednesday starting at 7pm. The last event will be September 4th.
Admission is free.

What some considered to be the the longest winter ever is finally over, and now that longer evenings are upon us, it’s time for a Renegades Booze Cruise aboard The Elizabeth on Thursday, April 18th.
Departing from Albuoys Point at 6pm sharp, the Renegades invite you to kick start the summer season with their first Booze Crooze of the year. There will be a DJ on board and an Open Bar. After the last two sell-out years they’re aiming for a hat-trick, so get your tickets early.

From 10am until 3pm at the St. George’s Historical Society Museum Garden, you will find lots of plants for sale, together with books and all sorts of other knick-knacks.

The Yoga Centre on Victoria Street are offering a course on HPLF Yoga: For Hips, Pelvis, Legs and Feet, starting on Wednesday, April 24th.
Every Wednesday starting at 11am, this 8-week therapeutic yoga class is designed specifically for healthy and happy hips, pelvis, legs and feet. The course focuses on pain relief, structural realignment, core integration and intricate yoga breathing to help improve functionality of hips, pelvis, legs and feet. This course is good for sciatica, piriformis syndrome, sacroiliac joint pain, hip joint and IT band issues, tired and heavy legs and nerve issues in the legs and feet etc.
Taught by a C-IAYT ( certified yoga therapist) through the International Association of Yoga Therapy, the instructor uses a mindfulness approach that zeros in on proprioception and interoception and fascia anatomy to help students better connect with their bodies and develop new pathways for pain reduction and healing.
The cost is $185.

The Yoga Centre on Victoria Street are starting a new Beginner’s Yoga 12-Week Course on Thursday, April 25th.
Every Thursday starting at 5:30pm, this 90-minute class is geared to those new to yoga or those wishing to revive their practice and provides step by step instruction into the practice of yoga.
Students develop greater confidence doing the poses on their own, learn effective deep breathing and deep relaxation techniques and gain greater strength and flexibility from regular practice and commitment.
The cost is $260 for the whole course.

The Grateful Bread, a community action dinner program to help heal racial and social divisions in our society, host a free dinner for those in need on the last Thursday of every month. The next dinner will take place on Thursday, April 25th.
Doors open at 5:45pm at Astwood Hall, adjacent to St. Andrews church on Church Street (opposite HSBC), and service will start promptly at 6pm. Food is served by ticket number until all food is gone. There will also be free giveaways of clothes, shoes, household items, toiletries and more. The event finishes at 7:30pm.
The free meal is provided by the generous donations of their volunteers. Additional volunteers are still needed so sign up to help give back. The next events are scheduled for: April 25th, May 30th, June 27th, July 25th, August (TBD), September 26th, October 31st, November 29th, December (TBD).

The Yoga Centre on Victoria Street is offering an 8-Week Course in ASBN Yoga: For Arms, Shoulders, Upper Back and Neck, starting on Monday, April 29th.
Weekly starting at 11am, this 60-minute therapeutic yoga class is designed to work with students with shoulder, upper back and neck issues and weakness in arms, hands and wrists. Students will learn valuable techniques to strengthen fingers, hands and wrists; work on poses to improve arm strength, shoulder soreness or weakness like frozen shoulder or rotator cuff injuries; and, misalignment in the upper back and chest.
The instructor is a certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT) who uses a mindfulness approach focusing on fascia anatomy to help reduce pain and safely repattern to support healing.
The cost is $165.
