Bermuda Fun Golf in Dockyard invites you to join them every Wednesday for Happy Hour Golf starting on May 15th.

Weekly from 5pm until 10pm, you can enjoy $10 rounds of Mini Golf, and specials on Gosling’s Dark n’ Stormy, Bermuda Rum Swizzle and Corona.

Enjoy incredible views and magnificent sunsets from the Sunset Terrace, and tasty food from The Caddy Shack Bar & Grill. They also offer Glow in the Dark Night Golf, at the Happy Hour price.

Happy Hour Golf will continue every Wednesday until end of August.

Bermuda National Gallery Lecture Series Presents: Ashley Dunn on Thursday, May 16th.

Ashley Dunn is assistant curator in the Department of Drawings and Prints at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, where she is responsible for nineteenth-century French drawings, prints, and illustrated books in the collection. In this lecture she will talk about her recent exhibition projects including Rodin at The Met (2017) and Devotion to Drawing: The Karen B. Cohen Collection of Eugène Delacroix (2018). She studied French at Emory University, received a Master of Studies in the history of art and visual culture from the University of Oxford, and recently completed her Ph.D. at Northwestern University.

The event starts at 5:30pm with a reception in the Bermuda National Gallery. The lecture starts at 6pm.

The Dream World of Nicky Gurret & Sorgel is a new exhibition opening at Gallery One Seventeen on Friday, May 17th.

This not-to-be-missed joint exhibition features two local artists; Bermudian, Nicky Gurret and French painter Pierre Sorgel. Gurret’s art leans towards the abstract whereas Sorgel’s is surreal. Brilliant, bright colours feature in both artist’s work.

Gallery One Seventeen is open from 10am until 5pm, Monday through Saturday. The exhibition will run for two weeks until May 31st.

The Bermuda Plein Air Group and the Bermuda National Trust invite you to The Art of Preservation – a group show featuring paintings of National Trust properties produced over the last year, on Friday, May 17th.

The exhibition will be on display at Waterville for one night only, from 5:30pm until 7:30pm. From hidden homes to open spaces, over 75 pieces of art will be for sale.There will also be a quick art competition, plein air painting demo, character sketching and a silent auction – promising an evening you don’t want to miss.

There is no cover charge. After this event the show will be on display at the Arts Centre at Dockyard until June 13th.

Dalton E. Tucker’s PTA are hosting their first Spring Fair on Saturday, May 18th.

This will be held from noon until 6pm at the school on Middle Road, where families are welcome to come and join in the festivities. Food vendors will be on site to provide lunch and snack options.

Admission is free for Children 4 years and under; $15 for children 5 and up; or $5 for adults (over 16 years old).  The admission fee is inclusive of all games and activities. Wrist bands can be purchased at the gate on the day or in advance.

Celebrating the reason why Bermudians are known as Onions, this year’s Onion Day will be on Saturday, May 18th.

From noon until 4pm at Carter House, Southside, St David’s, this Heritage Month event will celebrate Bermuda Onions – both the vegetable and two-legged variety. There will be local food for sale, and competitions for the Largest Onion as well as an Onion Eating Contest and raffle draw.

Admission is free, although donations to The St. David’s Island Historical Society will be gratefully accepted. While at Carter House, take a look at the progress of their Site Restoration Project, with 9 new endemic/native species to add, and the return of the Spanish Bermuda Tobacco which was found on Island by the Sea Venture Castaways during 1609.

Food tickets are $5 each. The 2020 St. David’s Calendar will also be for sale, and the first person to purchase will win a prize.

You can learn how to support yourself in healing your back and prevent future injuries with Living Yoga’s 6-Week Low Back Series starting on Saturday, May 18th

Weekly from 3:30pm until 5pm at The Yoga Centre on Victoria Street, the course will address low back tension and pain through adaptation, sequencing, core engagement and breath. No previous yoga experience is required.

The course is taught by a RYT500 hours Yoga Alliance certified teacher, EYT Yoga-Therapist-in-Training, and certified instructor of the Essential Low Back Program.

The cost of the course is $175.

Snorkel Park invites you to join them on the beach for Sundays Live – a day filled with entertainment, held every week, starting on May 19th.

From 1pm until 6pm you can enjoy the rhythmic sounds and energy of Bermuda Top Bands performing live on the beach. Get in on the action, with their family-friendly DJ’s spinning island tunes to keep you dancing! You can expect conga lines, limbo, musical games and much more. Visit De’ Rental Hut for snorkel gear, kayaks, paddleboards, waterslide passes and a variety of floats for a splashing good time. (additional fees apply).

General Admission is $10, or free for toddlers (ages 4 and under.) This event will repeat weekly through September.

Enjoy great food with live entertainment at Fairmont Southampton’s iconic weekly Cabana Sunset Beach BBQ every Tuesday this summer, starting on May 21st.

The Bermuda Zoological Society invites you to join them for another lecture: Longtails, Oystercatchers, and other Shorebirds on Wednesday, May 29th.

From 7pm until 9pm at BAMZ, the lecture will be presented by Dr. Dan Gribbin, Audubon Society member and wildlife photographer. Capturing the grace and beauty of shore birds in their natural habitat in Florida is a fascinating challenge, particularly for the photographer with an interest in artistic design. Dan takes up the challenge.

Impact Mentoring Academy invites you to their next fundraising event, a Drive-In Movie Night on Saturday, June 1st.

Join them to watch BumbleBee under the stars on the field at Berkeley Institute, with your friends and family. Gates open at 6:30pm and the film starts at 8:30pm.

Hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, face painting and beverages will all be available for purchase to enhance your movie experience.

Admission is $25 per car, or $5 per person with a chair. Space for cars is limited.

Attention all sports fans, the most anticipated fight of the year: Fight Night Champion, featuring Bermuda’s own Nikki Bascome vs. Alvin Lagumbay from the Philippines, will take place on Saturday, June 29th.

From 6pm until midnight in the Victualing Yard in Royal Naval Dockyard, the event will show the best of the best local boxers and kickboxers under the stars, with state-of-the-art electrifying lighting and audio in a festive atmosphere. You are sure to be sure enticed by their vendors selling delicious food from Frog & Onion Pub and Bonefish Grill service stations.

Boxing Youth Exhibition starts at 6pm, followed by Fight Card at 7pm.

The cost is $65 for General Admission (bleacher seating), $75 for preferred seating, or $150 for VIP seating. VIP perks include: access numbered seating entitlement, secure VIP parking, ringside seating, waiter Service, a complementary photograph, fan flag, and an All Access Pass to the official “Victory” After Party VIP section at Snorkel Park Dockyard.
