Here’s your weekly update with all of the latest events that have been added to the calendar since last week. As always, be sure to check out the Quick Recap section at the bottom of this post, for a list of ALL upcoming events, including those previously covered in previous posts.

Are you ready for the end of summer vibes? The organisers of Rum Punch Brunch are back with a unique twist and plans to help you beat the heat, as they proudly present: Rum Punch Brunch: Sunset Edition on Sunday, August 25th.
From 3pm until 10pm, they will be taking over Fort Hamilton again, bringing the same energy you know and love. They invite you to join them for a delicious late afternoon buffet (until 5pm) and day party vibes that will have you partying till dark.
Rum Punch will be on special. Limited RPB signature reusable carafes will be on sale, and if you already have a RPB Carafe, bring it back to the event for $25 refills.
Tickets are already sold out for Brunch, but you can still attend the day party from 5pm until 10. Tickets for the day party are $30 and can be purchased on www.Ptix.bm or at Kit & Caboodle.

BUEI Films presents Do You Trust This Computer? on Sunday, August 25th.

Ginger Beer & Plates presents their second annual Secret Supper event, Arabian Nights on Friday, August 30th.
The supper club has been organised with the philosophy that pretty much everything is better when it’s a secret.
From 7pm until 8pm, those “in the know” can enjoy the excitement of an exclusive dinner at a secret location, to be revealed along with the menu just a few days before.
The cost is $155 per person.

Scooter Mart invites you to join them at the Bermuda Charge Charity Ride-Out & Auto Show – a celebration of Bermuda’s motoring culture! – on Sunday, September 1st.
From noon until 6pm on the grass park at Clearwater Beach, more than 20 automotive vendors will display motorcycles, cars, e-bikes, scooters and ATVs, for the public to test ride. Visitors will also find one-day-only deals on motorcycles, tires, wheels, motor insurance, auto detailing, customs and repairs.
The event is family-friendly and you can expect fun castles, water slides, face-painting, snowballs and a live DJ. Hot food and cold drinks will be on sale from vendors J&B’s Wood Fired Pizza, Ashley’s Lemonade, Gombey’s Restaurant and Jamaican Grill.

Wild Wing Wednesday Presents: Dancing in September Cookout on Sunday, September 1st.
From 1pm until 3pm, you can enjoy a BBQ at the Arboretum (entry on Middle Rd.) DJs Mikey B, Markie T, and Korie Minors will be playing music until 7pm. A cash bar will be available.
The cookout menu includes: Baked Bermuda Whole fish, Pork Ribs, Chicken, Beyond Sausages (Vegetarian option), Smoked beef Sausages, Rustic Potato Salad, Corn on the Cobb, Macaroni & Cheese, Summer Salad, Bourbon baked beans, Honey biscuits.

BIFFlix Presents: Wild Rose on Wednesday, September 4th.

Try a new approach to your health with Iyengar Yoga For Beginners, a new 4-week course, starting on Wednesday, September 4th.
This unique style of yoga encourages precise alignment and mindful movement, often utilizing a variety of props to help students safely achieve and hold poses for maximum benefit. Iyengar yoga provides an ideal foundation for new students, and offers a comprehensive platform for more experienced students to advance their practice.
Classes will be held weekly at The Club at Fritholme Gardens (Elbow Beach). Class options are Wednesdays 7-8pm, Thursdays 9:30-10:30am, or Saturdays 10:45-11:45am.The course is suitable for students of all abilities, ages 16+.

The Learning Centre and RHM Tutoring want to help you experience a new Breakthrough in your faith, by Ministering your Spiritual Gifts – a five week- course starting on Monday, September 9th.
Every Monday from 6:30pm until 9pm at The Reading Clinic, they promise your spiritual growth will accelerate, and prophetic voice will activate through application of Biblical examples, during this five-week course.
Christians of all denominations are invited including new Christians.
MSG BREAKTHROUGH is one out of four courses in the series, offered in partnership with Koinonia Training Centre. Upcoming modules include: MSG – Introduction; MSG-Faith; MSG Advance. The key scripture for the series is 1 Corinthians 14:1 “Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy.” (ESV)
The course ends on October 7th. Each participant receives a certificate of participation. The MSG Course Series are required for the Certificate and Degree Programs offered through KTC.
This course is taught by Min. Eugenia L. Robinson M. Sc., C.L.C.
The cost is $95 for general participants and $105 for Koinonia Training Center (KTC) students, per course. Early-bird registration, before August 31st, includes a free copy of the student manual required for this course.

Because their vendors have so many bargains, Peace Lutheran Church is hosting two Car Boot Sales this month on Saturdays; September 7th and September 21st.
From 9am until 2pm, you can shop for clothing and shoes for everybody, household items, gifts, toys, games, books, jewellery and so much more. Hot Dogs and Coffee will be for sale so you won’t go hungry whilst shopping.

Get ready for paint, powder, water, and freedom! At the second annual Sunset J’Ouvert on Saturday, September 21st.
From 5pm until 11pm at a secret location, DJ Tanz will host the event and DJ Markie T, DJ Chubb, D’General, and Jester, returning from Toronto, will lead the celebration in the spirit of J’Ouvert.
This year they are bringing back the Slip n’ Slide, and will have water guns as well as a number of surprises in store. They invite you to come out to play, get dirty, and celebrate life!
Dress code is white. They will provide the colour so wear something you don’t mind getting dirty.
Tickets are now on sale at www.Ptix.bm at $35 for the Early Bird discount until August 31st, $60 for General Admission thereafter. The price includes a welcome shot, reusable drink bottle, paint, water, rag, powder, and vibes.

The theme of the annual BF&M Breast Cancer Awareness Walk is “Hey Breast Cancer, Let Me Tell You Something…” and takes place on Wednesday, October 16th.
Join them and share your voice. They want to know, if you were able to have a conversation with Breast Cancer, what would you say?
The event starts at 4:30pm at Barr’s Bay Park, with School Spirit Photos until 5pm, followed by a BF&M Health Fair from 5pm until 6pm. At 5:50pm the itinerary continues with Warm-Up Activities, followed by the walk at 6pm. The event finishes with a Survivor Celebration from 6:45pm until 8pm.
The race fee is $30 before October 15th, and $35 thereafter. Please note that registration is online only this year at www.RaceDayWorld.com. Walk pack pick-up will be on specific days.
