Morning Ladies and Gents!

I hope you have all adjusted to the time change better than I have!  I’m not exactly sure how a one-hour change can mess up my body clock by 3 or 4 hours but I guess I have always been a bit special.  Anyway, here’s what you are all here for – the latest news on Bermuda events:

1105 Panel Discussion with Dany Pen and Ami Zanders

Can artwork encourage discussions on social issues? Find out at a Panel Discussion on this very topic with Biennial artists Dany Pen and Ami Zanders at Bermuda National Gallery on Wednesday, November 5th.

The session will run from 12.30pm until 1.30pm with Suzanne Mayall serving as moderator.

Admission is free, although donations are encouraged.

Hi Kids!

Well, I guess the short version of this post would have been, “Everything is cancelled, just stay at home”.  This will come as no surprise but you’ll see a lot of cancellations and postponements below.  Since we don’t yet know what the extent of the damage from Hurricane Gonzalo is going to be, please be sure to check with event organisers before heading to anything listed for the next week or two.

Hopefully, you will receive a post next week but this will depend greatly on power outages and internet connection – fingers crossed!  Stay safe, Bermuda – look after each other and see you on the other side!

1016 Charles + Chewstick

Discovery Wines present a Roots, Rock Reggae event featuring Geoffrey Markell from Charles Smith Wines and the 3 Kings Band on Thursday, October 16th.  **UPDATE:  This will now be on Thursday, November 20th due to Hurricane Gonzalo**

Charles + Chewstick will run from 6pm until 8pm, including a taste of four different Charles Smith Wines will be served alongside some cheeses. Come on out for a fun evening of great wine, great music and great food!

The cost is $30 per person and reservations are required.

For more information, or to make a reservation, contact 296-9463 or events@discoverywines.bm.
