From 5.30pm until 9pm at Little Venice Wine Bar Terrace, you are invited to bring your friends and colleagues as they share their expectations for the new year. Happy Hour prices will be available until 8pm and the terrace will be heated.

BUEI Moves presents the return of Body Control Pilates, Level 1 and 2 classes with Caitlin Curtis, running every Friday.
Level 2 classes will be at 2pm, followed by Level 1 at 3.10pm.
The cost is $20 for members and $25 for non-members, or $180 for a 10 class package. Classes fill up quickly so you are advised to call in advance.

January is traditionally a quieter time of year but, never fear, there is still plenty to do in Bermuda – here are the latest additions to Bermuda’s calendar since the last post in 2016. With a longer run than Bermuda Tourism’s general Restaurant Weeks, this will be available from Thursday, January 5th until Thursday, February 9th, when you can enjoy a three-course dinner – appetiser, entree and dessert – at one fabulous prix-fixe price.
Dine on tenderloin medallions or Atlantic Salmon at the renowned Waterlot Inn for $52 per person. The full menu can be viewed here.
At Newport, a Gastropub, find your favourites like pork ribs or a Cajun grouper sandwich for just $42 per person. The full menu can be viewed here.
Get passionate about Italian at Bacci and choose grilled Branzino or a pasta entrée for $32 per person.**UPDATE: Bacci will be closed from January 16th until February 8th and will not be participating in Restaurant Weeks**

Well, it’s that time of year again! This is my last post of 2016 so I just wanted to wish you all a very merry Christmas for Sunday and a very Happy New Year when it comes! And if you don’t celebrate Christmas, then I hope you enjoy the happy vibes at this time of year. Be good to each other and I hope 2017 is your best year yet! There is still time to leave your mark on 2016 as well so why not get out there and do something memorable?

Keep the Christmas magic going beyond the day itself at BUEI Films presents The Royal Ballet’s The Nutcracker on Thursday, December 29th at 5pm
The screening will be at 5pm in the Tradewinds Auditorium. In Peter Wright’s classic production for The Royal Ballet, the stage sparkles with theatrical magic – a Christmas tree grows before our eyes, toy soldiers come to life to fight the villainous Mouse King and Clara and the Nutcracker are whisked off to the Kingdom of Sweets on a golden sleigh. Tchaikovsky’s score contains some of ballet’s best-known melodies, from the flurrying Waltz of the Snowflakes to the dream-like Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy – all brilliantly set in Wright’s choreography. The running time is 135 minutes with one interval.
This production features Bermuda’s own Ravi Cannonier-Watson – come and meet Ravi at this special event!
The cost is $20 for BUEI members, $25 for non-members and $10 for students. Part proceeds to help with Ravi’s school expenses at The Royal Ballet.
