Hamilton Princess are pleased to offer again this year, a chance for youngsters to have some fun while making someone else happy at their wonderful Teddy Bear Tea, every Saturday and Sunday leading up until Christmas.
From 3pm until 5pm at Crown & Anchor, you can treat your kids to a special afternoon tea and have them bring along a new teddy bear or stuffed animal that will be donated to the Salvation Army and the Family Centre to help those less fortunate. Santa will also be there with goody bags, and he can’t wait to hear what your little ones would like to find under the Christmas tree.
The cost for Teddy Bear Tea is $32 (plus gratuities), while the cost for Teddy Bear Tea with a Teddy donation is $22 (plus gratuities).
This event runs every weekend until December 23rd.

The Christmas season is officially upon us and the calendar is quickly filling up with lots of festive events. Here’s your weekly update with all of the new events that have been added since last week, and as always, don’t forget to check out the Quick Recap Section at the bottom of this post for a full listing of everything that’s upcoming.
Visit the Clocktower Mall in the Royal Naval Dockyard to experience the artwork and creativity on display by local primary and middle schools who have entered in the Festival of Trees Competition.
The Festival of Trees Competition showcases 6 local schools competing for cash prizes. Their placements are entirely based on your votes, so come on out and show your support for their hard work.
Public voting is open daily from 10am until 5pm until December 1st. Ballots are located by the stairs inside the Clocktower Mall.
The winner will be announced at their Inaugural Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 2nd, and the trees will remain up for public viewing until December 31st.

The countdown to Thanksgiving is on, and as you’ll see below there are a lot of options for celebrating this holiday in Bermuda. Bermuda Hospitals Board’s Diabetes, Respiratory, Endocrine and Metabolism (DREAM) Centre will offer Free Health Screenings on Wednesday, November 14th.
From 10am-1pm in the lobby of the General Wing at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, the health screenings will check blood sugar, blood pressure and lung function as part of World Diabetes Day and World COPD Day celebrations.
If you are a smoker or former smoker over 40 years-old, please come and do the lung-function test. It’s quick, easy and non-invasive.
Everyone is welcome to the free screening event.
