May 3rd, 2017 Bermuda Calendar Update

Morning Kids!

It’s finally May – the month when we can get back to beach days and ocean swims!  And if that’s not enough for you, there has been plenty added to the Bermuda calendar since last week to keep you occupied.

As always, don’t forget to check out the Quick Recap Section at the bottom of this post for a full listing of all upcoming events, including those previously covered in previous posts.

BUEI and ACEA present The 35th America’s Cup with Tucker Thompson on Thursday, May 4th.

The America’s Cup, sailing’s pinnacle event, is the oldest and arguably the most difficult trophy in the world to win. For the first time in its history, the 166 year old competition will be hosted in Bermuda. Tucker Thompson, the official Public Host of the 35th America’s Cup, will present an informative and entertaining, multi-media presentation highlighting the Cup’s storied history including the dramatic comeback of AC34, an overview of the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series, a look at the six competing teams, and what to expect in Bermuda during the upcoming competition from May 26th through June 27th.

Tucker Thompson is the official Public Host of the 35th America’s Cup. A veteran sailing commentator, Thompson has hosted over 1,500 sailing shows on T2PTV and live TV and covered the America’s Cup on TV since the 2007 Cup in Valencia, Spain.
