Morning Troops

Hope you all have your costumes sorted by now – there are quite a few options this Halloween!  Here’s the lowdown on some other things to do in Bermuda this Fall:

1031 Halloween Fun Friday

Twilight Entertainment is hosting a Halloween Fun Friday at The Berkeley Institute Gymnasium & School Field on Friday, October 31st.

The fun starts at 10am and will end at 5.30pm, including fun castles, a Halloween candy hunt, two Halloween-themed movies, plus games and other fun activities. Monster House will be screened at 1pm, followed by Hotel Transylvania at 2.45pm.

The fees are $20 for the Visiting Camps Fun Day, $30 for the Non Camp Visitors Fun Day and free for Twilight Entertainment Fun & Safety Camp attendees. Camp administrators should contact them as soon as possible so that they can ensure that there is enough food, drinks and snacks on hand for your camp attendees.

October 15th, 2014: Bermuda Events Update

Hi Kids!

Well, I guess the short version of this post would have been, “Everything is cancelled, just stay at home”.  This will come as no surprise but you’ll see a lot of cancellations and postponements below.  Since we don’t yet know what the extent of the damage from Hurricane Gonzalo is going to be, please be sure to check with event organisers before heading to anything listed for the next week or two.

Hopefully, you will receive a post next week but this will depend greatly on power outages and internet connection – fingers crossed!  Stay safe, Bermuda – look after each other and see you on the other side!

1016 Charles + Chewstick

Discovery Wines present a Roots, Rock Reggae event featuring Geoffrey Markell from Charles Smith Wines and the 3 Kings Band on Thursday, October 16th.  **UPDATE:  This will now be on Thursday, November 20th due to Hurricane Gonzalo**

Charles + Chewstick will run from 6pm until 8pm, including a taste of four different Charles Smith Wines will be served alongside some cheeses. Come on out for a fun evening of great wine, great music and great food!

The cost is $30 per person and reservations are required.

For more information, or to make a reservation, contact 296-9463 or events@discoverywines.bm.
