1210 Rumbar Rainbow Wednesdays

Come out, meet and greet, be yourself, and taste the rainbow as Victoria Grill and Rumbar Lounge presents Rumba°r Rainbow Wednesdays, a fun, LGBTQ-friendly, wider community-welcoming social event!

Rumba°r’s master bartender has crafted a series of martini-style cocktails and sangria in the colours of the rainbow. Fill out their special punch card by trying all of them and be entered in a draw to win a return flight to Toronto, ON, Canada for Pride Toronto in June 2015, courtesy of Island Restaurant Group.

The premiere event will be on December 10th, which happens to be UN International Human Rights Day, and will feature DJ Blazian Kidd. There will also be Happy Hour prices on the special Rainbow Martinis, glasses of Sangria, standard highballs and bottled beer every week.

Eve’s Garden Lingerie is celebrating 20 years and, to celebrate this milestone, they are hosting a Customer Appreciation Night on Friday, December 12th.

1212 Everything He Promised

Enjoy a night of praise and worship with Sia at Everything He Promised, in conjunction with First Church of God, North Shore on Friday, December 12th.

Doors open at 7pm, with showtime at 8pm. Sia will be performing the radio single, Give God the Praise, special guest artist will be Pastor Tricray Astwood, and others include Cindy Smith, Lloyd Holder, and Adrian Jones.

1212 Live Entertainment at Jasmine Lounge

Looking for some live entertainment on the weekends?

Then you’re in luck as The Unit and Exclusive will be performing live in the Jasmine Lounge on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights from 9pm until midnight.

The Unit will be performing on Fridays in December as well as on Tuesday, December 23rd, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Exclusive, comprised of Tony Bari (pianist), Earl Leader (drums) and Dennis Francis (bass), will be performing every Saturday and Sunday, as well as Christmas Eve and then nightly from Saturday, December 27th until Sunday, January 4th, including New Year’s Eve.

1213 Altrusa Club Christmas Bake Sale

Treat yourself to some festive goodies at the Altrusa Club Annual Christmas Bake Sale at Lindo’s Market in Devonshire on Saturday, December 13th.

Back to Basics is celebrating 25 Years of Fitness in Bermuda and invite all members of the Back to Basics family to come and celebrate a quarter century of their fitness victories on Sunday, December 14th.

Whether you were a member of the Hamilton Harriers Jr Track Club Family, Bikini Boot-camp, Bridal Boot-camp, worked out with Coach Stevie B at West Pembroke School, the Arboretum, Elbow Beach, Francis Patton School, the Botanical Gardens, or the Berkeley Institute Gym, or are one of the corporate veterans from Ace Insurance, BF&M, Arch Reinsurance, Butterfield Group, or Johnson and Higgins, you are invited to come and celebrate all your hard work and raise a glass with your fellow athletes.

A clash of old and new will be going down at the Old Skool vs New Skewl Benefit Concert on Sunday, December 14th.

Brought to you by Challenge Dance Crew, the concert will run from 7pm until 9pm in the Berkeley Institute Cafetorium, showcasing talents from singing, dancing, acting, poetry and more.

The St. Paul A.M.E. Choir, under the Patronage of Mr. Randolph Hayward, Esq., present an evening of choral music and readings of the Christmas season on Sunday, December 21st.

Now in its 9th year of making your sides hurt with laughter, Just for Laughs Bermuda is returning to the Fairmont Southampton’s Mid-Ocean Ampitheatre from Thursday, January 8th until Saturday, January 10th.

The legendary Alonzo Bodden is coming back to host, and three international comics, Saturday Night Live’s Jim Breuer (USA), Debra DiGiovanni (Canada) and Graham Chittendon (Canada), will be performing on all three nights.

Thursday, January 8th promises an elegant evening of comedy with round linen-covered tables, drink service at your table and finger foods available for purchase. Showtime is at 8pm and local talent Jonathan Young will be opening. Tickets are $87 for reserved cabaret seating.

Friday and Saturday have theatre-style seating and tickets are $77 or $87 for reserved seating. The Friday show starts at 8.30pm with both Jonathan Young and Nadanja opening. On Saturday, there are two shows at 7pm, opened by Jonathan Young, and 10pm, opened by Nadanja.
