It’s a short week for many of us – hope you all have a wonderful Easter holiday weekend spending time doing what you love best with who you love best!

As a church fundraiser, St. Anne’s Church are hosting an Agape Supper on Wednesday, March 28th. .

From 7.30pm in the church hall, The Love Feast, or Agape Meal, is a Christian fellowship meal recalling the meals Jesus shared with disciples during his ministry and expressing community, sharing, fellowship enjoyed by the family of Christ.  They invite you to bring one who is in need.

Tickets are $15.

Another week has gone by in a flash – anybody else feel like they could do with a Pause button on life to just give you a little time to catch up with yourself?

Come socialize and network with other golfing ladies at IslandKaddy’s weekly Ladies Night, Nine and Wine with the next on Wednesday, March 21st.

Tee Off is at 6pm, with warm up from 5.30pm, playing 9 Holes Stableford.  This will continue every Wednesday until further notice.

The cost is $30 per player.

Two very unique music groups from one of the most prestigious universities in the world, Harvard University, will be performing live as the Fairmont Southampton proudly presents The Harvard Krokodiloes at the iconic Waterlot Inn on Wednesday, March 14th.

The following evening, The Harvard Krokodiloes, 12 tuxedo-clad male undergraduates, are Harvard University’s oldest and finest a cappella singing group, delighting audiences worldwide with their unique blend of a cappella harmony and humour. They have been travelling to Bermuda for over 40 years during their Spring Break, and are thrilled to show their musical skills at Waterlot Inn from 6pm on Wednesday, March 14th.

Is it safe to open up the shutters again?  Hope you all fared well in the recent storm – on the bright side, at least we didn’t have snow to deal with as well!

BUEI Screens presents The Party on Wednesday, March 7th.

In Sally Potter’s new dark comedy, Janet (Kristin Scott Thomas) is hosting an intimate gathering of friends in her London home to celebrate her political ascension, while her husband, Bill (Timothy Spall), seems preoccupied. Janet’s acerbic best friend, April (Patricia Clarkson) arrives and others follow, some with their own dramatic news to share, but an announcement by Bill provokes a series of revelations that gradually unravel the sophisticated soiree, and a night that began with champagne may end with gunplay.  This R rated drama has a running time of 71 minutes.

The film begins at 7.30pm in BUEI’s Tradewinds Auditorium. You can even make a night of it since Harbourfront are offering a 10% discount (food only) to anyone dining there before or after the event.  Reservations are required.  Please mention the event when booking to avail of the discount and note that it cannot be combined with any other special offers. For dinner reservations call 295-4207.

Tickets are $15 each, $12 for students, and are non-refundable within 24 hours of the event.
