Happy Wednesday, Ladies and Gents!
It feels like it has been far too long since we last had a holiday weekend. I hope you all make the most of it, doing whatever matters to you most with whoever matters to you most. I for one can’t wait to be reunited with chocolate – Lent has seemed extra-long this year. Whatever you end up doing, I hope you all have a wonderful Easter break. Here is the latest rundown of upcoming Bermuda events:
Looking for a pre-Easter salsa fix? Una Noche de Musica Latina, a night of Latin music, awaits you at at Shine’s House of Music on Thursday, March 28th from 8pm until midnight. There is no cover charge and as well as all Latin music, dancing and drinks specials, there will also be a special live band performance. For more details, visit www.SalsaGoddess.me.
Another great family-friendly event to add to the list of options for Easter weekend – the Eliza Dolittle Society presents a screening of the new Dreamworks movie, The Croods, on Saturday, March 30th. The movie will start at 10am at Liberty Theatre and the cost is $15 per person, including the movie, popcorn, drink and snack. Moviegoers are also asked to bring non-perishable food items for their Food Bank collection, which will go towards feeding Bermuda’s hungry. To reserve seats, contact firstname.lastname@example.org and pay at the door.
A household name in the worldwide reggae/world music/spiritual community, Shimshai will be performing live at Spirit House in Devonshire on Saturday, March 30th. This is part of his True Heart CD Release Tour and will be Shimshai’s second time in Bermuda. Door open at 7.30pm and the show starts at 8pm. As suggested by the name, DJ Siid James will be playing electro music all night and this event is sponsored by Heineken, who will be offering special prizes. There is no cover charge.
