February 3rd, 2016: Bermuda Events Update

Morning Troops!

page

Well, whether you love it or loathe it, we’re now in Love Month in Bermuda! Don’t worry though, there is much more than just mushy stuff going on – here’s is your usual Hump Day update from the Bermuda calendar:

0204 Harbour Nights Vendor Information Session

The Chamber of Commerce has announced that the 24th Annual Harbour Nights is set to kick off on May 4th, running through until August 31st.

Front Street will once again host Bermuda’s largest and longest-running street festival, with offerings from local artisans, crafters, chefs, musicians and other entertainers, and of course, the Gombeys.

To keep up with the changing environment, the Chamber invites those who are interested in participating in Harbour Nights to attend a Vendor Information Session on Thursday, February 4th.

From 5.30pm until 6.30pm at the Chamber of Commerce, previous and new vendors alike will receive information on participating in this award-winning social event.

This year, the Chamber are looking to incorporate activities highlighting the quintessentially Bermudian experience. According to reports released from the Bermuda Tourism Authority, visitors want to participate in and experience the unique cultural aspects of the country they visit.

Since Bermuda has a wide and varied culture, and our experiences are unique to Bermuda, they wish to incorporate and share more of those experiences with the 3000+ visitors that participate in Harbour Nights every week.

Harbour Nights was recently acknowledged as a recipient of the Trip Advisor Award for 2015 and consistently scores high marks with visitors and locals alike. Businesses interested in participating or becoming a sponsor can call 295-4201.
