Okay, I would start upping your milk thistle intake right about now to prepare your poor livers for Cup Match – can you believe that it’s only two weeks away?!  The Bermuda calendar is as hot as the thermometer reading right now so I hope you’re all making the most of this beautiful summer – if not, then here are a few ideas to get your started:

Enjoy an evening of delicious desserts and cocktails at the Bermuda Fashion Festival’s Sunset Dessert Cruise on Wednesday, July 13th.

From 7pm until 9pm, the first 50 people to buy tickets to this exclusive event can rub shoulders with international fashion celebrities, whilst indulging in the sunset, desserts and open bar, aboard the M.V. Elizabeth.

Boarding will begin at 6:45pm from Albuoy’s Point, and you are asked to dress fashionably for this Gosling’s sponsored event.

Tickets are $30, and can be purchased from www.pTix.bm/BFF. You are advised to purchase immediately to secure your place.

Happy Hump Day!  This is Bri, filling in for Claire while she’s on vacation – don’t worry, I’m here to make sure that you won’t miss any updates on the latest events to be added to the Bermuda Summer Calendar in her absence.  As always, don’t forget to check out the Quick Recap section at the bottom of this post for a full listing of all upcoming events, including those previously covered in previous posts:

 

Radnor Road Christian Fellowship’s Vacation Bible School will run from Monday, July 4th until Friday, July 8th.

This will run from 6pm until 8:30pm and is open to all aged 2 to 102.

There will be Puppet Ministry for early birds at 4:30pm, Christian Community Speakers at 5:30pm, and dinner served nightly.

This event is free and you can sign up on the day.

0629 Gab with the Girls Friend Raiser at BNG

Grab your ace girls and support Bermuda National Gallery at the First Annual Gab with the Girls Friend Raiser on Wednesday, June 29th.

From 5pm until 8.30pm at Bermuda National Gallery, women are invited to gather and share the evening together with a few drinks.

Since this is a nice way to spread the word and have some fun, this event will also be a “friend raise” for the Gallery.  Why not surround yourself with friends who love the Gallery and enjoy some girl-time before your summer vacations?

Tickets cost $50 per person, which includes a single membership to BNG, and can be purchased at the door.

Why should weekends end on a Sunday, especially during the summer?  Stretch out that weekend vibe at the return of Cambridge Beaches’ Monday Night Buffet BBQ.

From 7pm until 10pm, you can save your Monday night dinner for Tuesday as Cambridge Beaches invite you to sit under the stars and jam to DJ Uncle.  If you have a boat, you are encouraged to moor up at their dock.  Please note that Cambridge Beaches Resort & Spa welcomes guests aged 13 years and older year-round, and the BBQ will run until October 31st.

The cost is $45, plus 17% grats, for all you can eat.

From 1pm until 4pm every Wednesday and Saturday, you can enjoy an artful presentation of traditional savouries and hand crafted petit fours  along with their scones served hot from the oven.
