January 8th, 2020 Bermuda Calendar Update

Happy New Year, Bermuda!

We hope that 2020 is off to a good start for you, and your resolutions are holding up so far šŸ˜‰ Here’s your very first weekly update of the year, with all of the latest events that have been added to the calendar since December 18th.Ā As always, make sure you scroll all the way down to the Quick Recap Section at the bottom of this post to see ALL upcoming events, including those that have been covered in previous posts.Ā

Daily throughout the month they are offering seasonally sourced three-course meals at reduced prices.Ā 

At theĀ The Waterlot Inn you can dine on Filet Mignon or Baked Salmon.Ā Dinner is from 6pm – 9:30pm. The cost is $52 + 17% gratuity per person.Ā At Medittera you can find family favourites, like Rigatoni and Chicken Parmesan. Dinner is from 6pm – 9:30pm. The cost is $42 + 17% gratuity per person.Ā At Boundary Sports Bar & Grille you can enjoy fun pub grub, like the Boundary Burger or Angler’s Catch. Dinner is from 5pm – 9:30pm. The cost is $32 + 17% gratuity per person. Reservations not required.Ā At Jasmine Cocktail Bar & Lounge you can enjoy eclectic selections for lunch or dinner, without a reservation! Dinner is from 6pm – 10:30pm. The cost is $32 + 17% gratuity per person. Lunch is from noon – 5pm. Jasmine Lounge and Boundary Sports Bar and Grille are open 7 days a week. Mediterra is closed on Tuesdays and The Waterlot Inn is closed on Mondays, however these days are subject to change due to the off-season.Ā

December 18th, 2019 Bermuda Calendar Update

Good Morning Bermuda!

Here’s your final weekly update until after the holidays, with all of the latest events to the Bermuda Calendar since last week. Please make sure you scroll all the way down to the Quick Recap Section at the bottom of this post, to see upcoming events that have been covered in previous posts as well.

Party Zone Bermuda presents their first annual Ugly Sweater Christmas Party on Saturday, December 21st.Ā 

The party is from 9pm until 2am at the driving range on Industrial Park Road in Southampton, where DJ Chris will be playing the hottest in Dancehall, Hip-Hop, RnB and Reggae music all night. There will be drink specials all night long.Ā 

The cost of admission is $15, and you will receive a free shot upon entry. ID is a must!

Recruitment for Raleigh Bermuda’s 2020 Programme will commence with three Information SessionsĀ  to beĀ held onĀ Thursday, December 12th; Monday, January 6th; and Wednesday, January 8th.Ā 

If you are a Bermudian between the ages of 17 to 24 and looking for a challenge, a change, and a way to transform you life, they invite you to come and chat with them.

The sessions are from 6pm until 7pm on the second floor in the same building as Bargain Box on Midsea Lane, off Serpentine Road.Ā 

The sessions is free.Ā

Interested in records or turntables? Are you a vinyl collector? Well, The Birdcage is hosting an event where you can discover some new music: Ā The Bermuda Record Exchange on Friday, December 6th.Ā 

The event is from 7pm until 9pm at the cocktail bar on Front Street. All are invited to come buy, sell or trade. Do you have a collection you want to get rid of? Come on down and see what can happen.

There is no entry fee.Ā

We are only four weeks away from Christmas Day!! Can you believe it?! Time to get into the holiday spirit and we have plenty events listed on the calendar to help you with that.

The Sarah Allen Missionary SocietyĀ are hosting Thanksgiving Dinner with all the trimmings on Thursday, November 28th.

The event is from 5pm until 7:30pm in the Vernon Temple Church Fellowship Hall.

The cost of dinner is $25 per person. Tickets may be purchased from members or the church office.
