Hi Kids

Since this is my last post of 2012, I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy New Year when it comes. I hope 2013 exceeds your wildest hopes. Here’s what’s coming up in Bermuda:

Cherry Wine

Tigress Entertainment is giving you a great opportunity to celebrate the last Friday of 2012 as they present Cherry Wine at Cosmopolitan Nightclub on Friday, December 28th.  For a mature crowd only, from 10pm until 3am, you can enjoy drinks specials all night with Y.G.S. Entertainment and Supatone playing the best of old and new in Top 40, Soca, Reggae and more.  Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 on the door and are available from Secrets, Kit-n-Caboodle and Kea on 704-0211.  If you spend $20 at the bar, you will be entered into a raffle to win 2 free trips to NYC.

Hi Kids

Well, this is my last post before the day itself so I just wanted to wish you all a very merry Christmas for Tuesday! And if you don’t celebrate Christmas, then I hope you enjoy the happy vibes at this time of year. Be good to each other!

Also, just to give you a heads-up that next week’s post will be on Thursday instead of Wednesday as I will be in too much of a turkey coma to write anything on Christmas Day.

Deep Freeze at Cosmo

The last weekend of 2012 sounds like a good excuse for a party to me!  On Saturday, December 29th, McLoviin promises the coolest party of the winter at Ciroc Deep Freeze at Cosmopolitan Nightclub (formerly Moon).  iMEGA, New Era and Supatone will be playing all your favourite high energy party hits all night long from 11pm until 3am. Admission is $20 but the first 30 ladies will pay only $5.

Students, are you interested in local opportunities with one of the Big Four?  If so, you won’t want to miss the PwC Student Networking Reception on Thursday, December 20th at the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club.  From 5.30pm until 8pm, you can learn about the Pricewaterhouse Coopers HeadStart programme and all the career options available to you from PwC.  To RSVP, contact Kimalita Lightbourne at 295-2000 ext. 7326 or email pwcbermuda.student@bm.pwc.com.
