Morning Kids!

If you’re a bit of a holiday grinch, then you probably won’t want to read today’s post as pretty much everything below is festive-themed fun.  There are also lots of opportunities to shop locally for unique Christmas gifts so please consider Buying Bermuda whenever possible, especially from small business owners.  Here are the latest Bermuda events:

In an attempt to whittle our waistlines, as well as spread some festive cheer to those less fortunate, Betty Dowling from B-Active for Life is holding a free Holiday Circuit and Toning Class on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays until December 12th.  In lieu of payment, she asks that you bring canned non-perishable items to contribute to the food hamper at the Hamilton Seventh-Day Adventist Church.  The classes will be on the 3rd floor of Bulls Head Car Park and will be at 9am on the Sundays and at noon on Wednesdays and Fridays.    For more details, contact 533-4451 or bactivept@gmail.com.

Since it always pays to be safety-smart, Jiketsu Martial Arts, Fitness & Natural Healing Centre at the Old Berkeley Institute are offering a two-lesson Women’s Essential Self-Defense Course. This focuses on the three secrets of self-defense to help you win the fight before the first strike is even thrown.  This is on the next two Thursdays, December 6th and 13th from 5.30pm until 7.30pm  and costs $175. To register and receive your free report and information kit, contact 705-7541 or reubenb@theselfdefenseco.com.
